The ‘Spectrum Management and IMT-2020 Radio Technology Application’ themed advanced training was held

On June 17-21 ,2019, the ‘Spectrum Management and IMT-2020 Radio Technology Application’  themed advanced training jointly held by the State Radio Monitoring Center (SRMC) / the State Radio Spectrum Management Center (SRSMC) and ITU was launched in Harbin, Hei Longjiang. The Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Radio Regulation under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Qi Feng, the Vice Director of SRMC Li Hengshuai, the Deputy Director-General of Hei Longjiang Department of Industry and Information Technology Fang Anru, and the Program Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) in ITU Aamir Riaz attended and delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Totally 20 foreign trainees from 9 Asia-Pacific countries like Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, Korea, Bangladesh, Thailand, Singapore, Iran, Indonesia and 15 domestic trainees participated in training.
During the five-day training, specialists from SRMC, ITU, Tsinghua University, Huawei Company and China Academy of Railway Sciences will provide English-spoken courses covers 5G mid-band and microwave, IoT, smart city, railway broadband communication, diital broadcast and a series of newly developing ICT and application, as well as station management and border coordination. The tarining also organized visit to Harbin Radio Monitoring Station and Haibin Date Center of China Unicom.
Under the guidance of MIIT, SRMC has successfully held six CoE trainings since 2014, accumulated a wealth of experience in international activities.
