On May 10-11, 2018, the Advanced Forum of Spectrum Resource Marketization hosted by the Radio Association of China (RAC) and undertaken by Beijing OET Spectrum Institute was launched in Beijing. The SRMC's Communist Party Secretary and Deputy Director Li Jingchun, the Deputy Director of SRMC Huang Ying attended the meeting. The Deputy Secretary General of RAC Kan Runtian delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. The forum specially invited famous professor in radio management industry Martin Cave to give a wonderful speech in aspect of the spectrum management.

During the keynote speech, Li Jingchun combined with experiences in researches of electromagnetic compatibility analysis, frequency plan and radio monitoring, to share the reading experience of the book ‘spectrum management’. At the opening ceremony, Kan Runtian introduced spectrum resource marketization situation in China.

On the forum, the author of the book ‘spectrum management’ Martin Cave expounded new type spectrum management scheme and spectrum application, deeply analyzed the way to maximize the social and economic benefits of spectrum resource. The forum also invited Robert Thelen-Bartholomew, the famous professor in spectrum management to discuss issues such as radio monitoring in operation, spectrum management technology and development tendency.

More than 80 people from SRMC, radio regulation agencies, network service providers and radio equipment manufacturers attended the forum.
