The kick-off meeting of 2018 annual 5G system compatibility research was launched in Beijing on March 20th. The Deputy Director of SRMC Chen Jinxing attended the meeting, and the Deputy Chief Engineer Huang Biao host the meeting.  

Chen said that 5G has become the global research hotspot in mobile communication industry. With this special project, we hope to set up the research platform and make more achievements, enhance the research ability of SRMC and expanded our influence. Chen Jinxing proposed three requires: firstly to master skills and take an active part in international communication; secondly, to strengthen the coordination and cooperation, find the correct position and exercise self; thirdly, to promote the ability of conclusion and summary.

During the mobilization speaking, Huang Biao defined main works of this year, included setting and administrative regulation research of 5G base-station, the support of 5G MMW frequency planning and mid-band technical index. Huang Biao also emphasized the importance and necessity of 5G system compatibility research.

More than 10 delegators from the Spectrum Engineering Division, Satellite Frequency & Orbit Resource Research Center and Spectrum Management Research Division of SRMC, as well as Shanxi Monitoring Station and relevant technologist attended the meeting.
