At the closing ceremony of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics held on February 25th, Beijing eight-minute show got attentions and focused by millions of people. The Bureau of Radio Regulation (BRR) of MIIT coordinated with the Technology Department of Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to make positive plans and powerful measures, finally completed the radio guarantee works of Beijing artist program successfully.

During the preparation stage, the BRR assisted the committee to apply for radio frequencies in less interference band based our equipment performances and suggestions from Korean side. At the same time, BRR held exercises with the Technology Department of the committee jointly in Beijing, defined the index requirements of radio guarantee works, and put forward the electromagnetic environmental protection requirements to the Organizing Committee of Pyeongchang Olympic Games.

In aspect of the field work, BRR obtained electromagnetic environmental data of the opening ceremony and made comprehensive analysis to formulate radio guarantee work scheme. During the rehearsal and formal performance in Pyeongchang, BRR launched protection monitoring and excluded the potential interference timely, and ensure the various equipments operated normally in Beijing eight-minute show.
