China, Vietnam Launched the 13th Border Region Radio Frequency Coordination in Yunnan

The 13th Bilateral Meeting on Frequency Management and the Cross-Border Terrestrial Services Frequency Coordination Meeting between P.R. of China and S.R. of Viet Nam was hold in Yunnan from December 5 to 7, 2017.

The Deputy Director General at the Bureau of Radio Regulation (BRR) of MIIT Song Qizhu led the Chinese delegation consisting of delegates from BRR, Yunnan Network Security and Informatization Leading Group Office, Yunnan Industry and Informatization Committee, Industry and Informatization Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, SRMC, China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. The Director at the Bureau of Radio Frequency Regulation of Viet Nam Information and Communication Ministry Duan Guanghuan led the Vietnamese delegation consisting of delegates from VNPT, Mobifone, Viettel, etc.

There have been ten years since the radio frequency coordination mechanism between China and Viet Nam set up. Both-side department in charge of radio keep the communication and cooperation well. During the meeting, both sides adhered to the spirit of friendly negotiation as well as mutual benefit and win-win result, exchanged views on issues involved radio frequency management policy, GSM system radio interference in border area and WRC-19, and completed the frequency coordination of 3G and 4G system in 2100MHz band.
