China, Mongolia Launched the 2rd Border Region Terrestrial Radio Service Frequency Coordination in Ulan Bator

The second border region terrestrial radio
service frequency coordination between China and Mongolia competent department
was launched in Ulan Bator from August 1st to 3rd, 2017.
During the conference, both sides exchanged
views on laws and regulations, frequency plan and allocation, border region
frequency use and station setting, reached a consensus on further improve
frequency coordination mechanism and discussed to formulate follow-up plans, defined
that the coordination of GSM system in 900MHz and CDMA system in 800MHz should
be carried out firstly.
The conference results in positive impacts,
contributes to promote cooperation between China and Mongolia, as well as
maintain the radio wave order in border region.
Kan Runtian, the inspector of BRR of MIIT led
the Chinese delegation consisting of the Nei Monggol Autonomous Region BRR, the
Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region BRR, Gansu Province BRR, SRMC, China Telecom,
China Mobile, China Unicom, etc. The Mongolian delegation was led by the
Director of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
